The Akshay Kumar-Parineeti Chopra starrer ‘Kesari’ has announced its release date for March 21, 2019. The film is based on the battle of Saragrahi of 1897. It has been directed by Anurag Singh.
The production house, Dharma Productions took to its Twitter handle and made the official announcement of the release date of the film.

The film will highlight the battle between 21 Sikh soldiers who were a part of the British Indian Army and Afghans in modern-day Pakistan. Akshay Kumar plays Ishar Singh, the leader of the Sikh Regiment. The film also stars Bhagyashree.
