This film will reportedly see Sonam Kapoor playing a homosexual girl in love with another girl. Whereas, Rajkummar Rao will be seen as Sonam’s friend who also loves her.
Produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and directed by Shelly Chopra Dhar, the film features Sonam Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla in lead roles.
The song is the remake of 1942: A Love Story. While that song was composed by RD Burman and sung by Kumar Sanu, the new version has almost the same composition and has been sung by Darshan Raval and Rochak Kohli.
