‘Get well Soon, Rahul Gandhi’: BJP shares old Congress tweets on Bengal

Taking a dig at Congress president Rahul Gandhi, BJP on Monday said that he is suffering from Multiple Personality Disorder and wished him well.

Attacking Rahul Gandhi for extending his support to West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee in the ongoing sit-in protest against the centre, BJP posted several archival tweets of Congress on the same issue.

“Diagnosed: Multiple Personality Disorder is characterized by atleast two distinct and enduring personality states – there is trouble remembering certain events, beyond ordinary forgetfulness. These states alternately show in person’s behavior. Get well soon, Rahul ji, ” the tweet read.

The Mamata Vs CBI faceoff started after CBI officials showed up at Kolkata police chief Rajeev Kumar’s residence for investigation of two Ponzi schemes.

Following which, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee staged an overnight dharna to ‘Save the Constitution’. Uniting against the centre, The opposition was quick to extend its support to didi.

“The happenings in Bengal are a part of the unrelenting attack on India’s institutions by Mr Modi & the BJP. The entire opposition will stand together & defeat these fascist forces,” Rahul Gandhi said on February 3.

A three-judge SC bench comprising Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi, Justice Deepak Gupta & Justice Sanjiv Khanna will hear CBI’s pleas tomorrow against Kolkata Police Commissioner Rajeev Kumar & West Bengal govt for alleged non-cooperation in a case connected with Saradha chit fund scam.
