Fugitive jeweller, Nirav Modi, never issued a statement regarding any party after he fled the country. Earlier also, he refused to give any comments when a British newspaper The Telegraph found him on March 9, 2019, after confronting him in a busy street.
On March 30, he was arrested in London and the next hearing in the case will be held in the Westminster court on March 29 before Chief Magistrate.
