In the run-up to the Lok Sabha Elections 2019, the most consistent candidate who has contested and lost elections 32 times is ready to fight the power battle again.
Dr Shyam Babu Subudhi, an 84-year old man from Odisha is a PM aspirant and has been contesting elections since 1962.

Homoeopathy doctor by profession, Subudhi is contesting the Lok Sabha Elections 2019 from Aska and Berhampur in Odisha. In a statement to ANI, he said, ” I fought elections 32 times. I’ve to continue the fight against corruption.

Despite losing each time, he has been trying to enter the power corridors. He claims that he can help establish a corruption-free government if voted to the House of Elders.
Subudhi has begun his campaign for the upcoming elections by distributing leaflets in crowded areas like stretches frequented by morning-walkers and in markets. He says he’ll keep contesting elections till his health permits.
Polling in Odisha will be held in four phases between April 11 to April 29. The first phase will be held on April 11, second on April 18, third on April 23 and fourth on April 29. Meanwhile, the results will be declared on May 23. The assembly elections will be held along with the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
