Fact Checked: These pictures are not of Gaya-Ranchi ring road

A picture of a road is being shared on social media claiming that it the Ranchi-Gaya ring road in Jharkhand.

“Shri Narendra Modi ji dwara Banwaya Gaya Ranchi Jharkhand me Ring Road click here👇👇👇👇👇👇 https://youtu.be/pUtUcbFYYCU” – the caption read.

The post was shared in a group that has more than 1 lakh members.

FACT CHECK

When we fact-checked this, we found out the pictures are not from Jharkhand.

The first thing we notice in the picture was the metro and Jharkhand doesn’t have a metro line.

On putting the image through Reverse Image Search on Yandex, we found out that this image is of Delhi-Meerut Expressway. We found a similar picture on Getty Image.

And for the second picture, it is a stock photo.

This proves that the images used to show Gaya-Ranchi ring road are not from Jharkhand and the post should not be shared further.
