Date:

The Agonda beach is located in the coastal town of Goa and is among the four beaches which were a designated resting site for olive-ridley sea turtles.

This beach has ranked number 1 in the Asia list of the annual Travellers’ Choice awards for beaches. There are 5 other Indian beaches which are part of the list namely – Radhanagar, Benaulim, Mandrem and Palolem which held the 4th, 15th, 18th and 20th positions, respectively. Mandrem and Palolem beaches are also in Goa. The awards were compiled as per viewers reviews on the site TripAdvisor.
