AP: At least five killed, six injured as car hits parked truck in Guntur

At least five people were killed while six others sustained injuries after the car in which they were travelling in, hit a parked truck on the national highway in Guntur’s Chilakaluripeta, Andra Pradesh on Monday.

Among the dead, two were children and the injured have been shifted to the government hospital.

Victimsfrom West Godavari’s Sabbuvaripalem village were returning home after offering prayers to Lord Balaji in Tirupati.

An inquiry has been initiated over the accident by DSP Rama Varma, the police department have filed a case and started an investigation.
