Don’t believe this viral tweet on Article 370 attributed to RaGa; here’s the truth

Following the government’s move of scrapping Article 370, a screenshot of a tweet under the name of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has surfaced on the internet.

The Tweet read: All the credit goes to Chacha Nehru for this historical day. Agar Nehru ji ne article 370 daala hi nahi hota Modi ji remove kaise karte.

As we can see in the screenshot, the above tweet is dated August 5th, 2019.

We scanned through Rahul Gandhi’s verified Twitter handle and we couldn’t find above tweet. We further witnessed that he had not tweeted anything related to the scrapping of Article 370 on Monday (August 5th, 2019).

Gandhi tweeted his first reactions on Tuesday.

Hence, the above information proves that Rahul Gandhi did not tweet what has been attributed to him.
