Did Pak PM Imran Khan hide when PM Modi entered the hall? Here’s the fact check

Date:

A picture has surfaced on the internet in which PM Modi is walking in the middle of a group of global leaders. In the same picture, Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan can be seen hiding from PM Modi.

The caption with the picture read: “When Modiji entered into the G-7 conferences hall, everyone assembled in the hall has given the standing welcome to him. One guy among them hides and was not able to either sit or stand. See his condition and find who..?”

FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the above picture and found it to be FAKE.

On putting the picture through a simple Reverse Image Search, we found the original picture on the verified Twitter handle of Ministry of External Affairs’ spokesperson (@MEAIndia).

The picture was taken in January 2018 during PM Modi’s visit to Davos.

As it can be seen in the above FAKE vs REAL collage, Pak Prime Minister Imran Khan is not there in the REAL picture. Cut-out of Imran Khan has been superimposed using Photoshop software.
