From business forums to meeting with global leaders- here’s what PM Modi’s day will be like

After hosting a high level event at the UN to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and later being honoured with the Global Goalkeepers Award 2019 by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, PM Modi will be taking part in several high-level meetings and business forums on Wednesday.

Prime Minister’s tentative schedule in the US on 25th September 2019-

08:30 am- Keynote Address by PM Modi at Bloomberg Global Business Forum

10:30 am- CEOs Roundtable

1:00 pm- Meeting with Belgian PM Charles Michel

3:00 pm- India-CARICOM Leaders’ Meeting

6:00 pm- Meeting with Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan

6:35 pm- Meeting with New Zealand PM Jacinda Ardern

7:45 pm- Meeting with Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid

PM Modi had earlier dedicated the Global Goalkeepers Award to the citizens of India who have adopted the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan as a part of their daily lives and made the mission possible through their efforts.

Epitomising Mahatma Gandhi’s message of living in peace and harmony with the planet, PM Narendra Modi and other leaders jointly inaugurated solar panels atop UN Headquarters and the Gandhi Peace Park in New York. A stamp on Mahatma Gandhi was released by the UN on the occasion.

PM Modi is currently on a 7-day trip to the US to boost the Indo-US bilateral ties and will also be speaking at the UNGA on the 27th September.
