Did Manoj Tiwari go to Dargah after Haryana elections results came out? Here’s the truth

A video of BJP Delhi chief, Manoj Tiwari, is being shared online with a claim that he visited dargah after he saw how bad BJP was doing in the Haryana elections.

” भक्तो के छोटे पापा कहां घूम रहें हैं
हरियाणा में बीजेपी की खस्ता हालत देख मस्जिद का रुख करते मनोज तिवारी” the caption read.

FACT CHECK

When NewsMobile fact-checked the video, we found it to be old.

We found the same video on YouTube and the title said ‘Manoj Tiwari in Nizamuddin Dargah’ in Hindi.

We ran a search using Keywords ‘मनोज तिवारी निजामुद्दीन’ on all social media platform and found a post by Manoj Tiwari on his official Twitter page dated Jun 14, 2018.

” बाबा निज़ामुद्दीन औलिया के दरबार में आपका मनोज तिवारी…” the caption read.

The Twitter post also had a link to his official Facebook page where he uploaded the same video on June 14, 2018. The caption of the video read, ” बाबा निज़ामुद्दीन औलिया, दिल्ली के दरबार में मत्था टेका.. इफ़्तार में भाग लिया … लोगों को फल बाँटे.. देश की तरक़्क़ी व दिल्ली की ख़ुशियों के लिए दुआ माँगी.. बहुत प्यार भी मिला ज़िनलोगों ने न्योता दिया था उनसे भी, जो दरबार में आए थे मिले उनसे भी.. -मनोज तिवारी”

The above information proves that the video is old and is not related to the 2019 Haryana Assembly Elections.
