During the National CSR Awards function in New Delhi, a Delhi police officer fainted in the audience. Immediately, the President, who was addressing the audience, rushed to her side. He broke the protocol and decided that people come foremost. Union Minster for finance, Nirmala Sitharaman and Minister of State, Anurag Thakur were also by his side.
MoS Anurag Thakur rushed to her assistance with a bottle of water in hand.
An act of the President that is truly commendable. For the First Citizen of India, his people precede protocol.
