On putting keywords such as ‘Indian’, ‘Rupee’, ‘Falling’, ‘Gravity’, ‘Nirmala Sitharaman’, ‘Finance Minister’ through a Google search, we didn’t find any authentic source that could confirm that Nirmala Sitharaman made the above statement.

We further scanned through Sitharaman’s verified Twitter handle (@nsitharaman), but we didn’t find any tweet close to the above statement.
