Don’t believe this FAKE picture of Mamata Banerjee and PM Imran Khan

A picture of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee alongside with Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan is doing rounds on social media.

At the time of filing this report, the above post was shared by over 2,200 Facebook users.

FACT CHECK

NewsMobile fact-checked the viral picture and found it to be FAKE.

On putting the picture through Reverse Image Search, we found the original picture which actually features actress Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas.

The picture was taken on May 6, 2019, duirng 2019 Met Gala in New York.

In the above FAKE vs REAL collage, it is clear that Mamata Banerjee and Imran Khan’s faces were superimposed on the original picture using photo editing software.
