A picture of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is making rounds on social media in which he can be seen in an optical store buying glasses.

NewsMobile fact-checked the above picture and found it to be FAKE.

On cropping and putting the picture through Reverse Image Search, we found the original picture of PM Modi in which he was actually standing in a lawn witnessing the solar eclipse on December 26, 2019.

The picture was tweeted by PM Modi on his verified Twitter handle.

On digging further, we found the picture of the optical store where PM Modi’s picture cut-out was superimposed using photo editing software.

Hence, the above information proves that the picture in question is morphed.
