The Haryana Health Department has confirmed that 10 new COVID-19 positive cases have been reported from Gurugram district and all these cases have been traced to the Tablighi Jamaat gathering that took place in March in Hazrat Nizamuddin area of New Delhi.
According to sources in the Health Department, all the 10 positive individuals have been identified to be from Una and Solan districts of the neighbouring Himachal Pradesh.
These ten individuals have now been quarantined at the Nalhar Medical College at Nuh district.

With this, Gurugram has reported a total number of 30 positive cases out of which 9 have recovered till date.
Haryana Health Minister Anil Vij had last week said that about 500 attendees of the Tableeghi Jamaat are from Haryana and a special team has been formed to trace them out.
Also, it was only last week that the Gurugram Police had tracked down a person who had attended the Jamaat meeting from Old Gurugram. He had tested positive for the virus.
