WATCH: Arnab Goswami and wife attacked in Mumbai, says it was an attack by Congress goons

Date:

In a shocking incident, senior journalist and Founder of Republic Media Network’s Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami and his wife were attacked while they were returning home from Republic’s studios in Mumbai on Wednesday night.

Goswami told Newsmobile that the attackers admitted that they were Congress workers and were upset at Arnab’s show on Palghar incident where he questioned the silence of Congress leader Sonia Gandhi over the issue.

In the video above, Goswami explains the attack took place barely 500 metres away from Arnab’s house as he was driving back following his show, with his wife in their Toyota Corolla. Masked goons overtook his car and hurled bottles, along with abuses.
