2. The United States recorded 1,258 Coronavirus deaths on Friday- the lowest daily toll in the country in nearly three weeks. The total cases in US now stand at 890,524, while the death toll has mounted to 51,017.
3. The number of daily deaths in New York has gone down, with 422 reported on Friday – the lowest since April 1.

6. Britain starts plasma trial against coronavirus: Britain is to start trials to see whether plasma collected from donors who have recovered from COVID-19 could be an effective treatment for patients who are severely unwell with the disease.
7. Nearly 60 new cases of coronavirus infections were confirmed among crew members of an Italian cruise ship docked in Japan, domestic media reported on Saturday.
