Fact Check: President Trump has NOT tested positive for Coronavirus; Here’s the truth

A video clip by Fox News is going viral on social media, with a claim that US President, Donald Trump, has tested positive for Coronavirus.

In the clip, the anchor can be heard saying that the White House has confirmed that the President has tested positive.

NewsMobile fact-checked the above video and found it to be doctored.

Since the viral clip in circulation is of Fox News, we checked their YouTube channel for videos related to President Trump using keywords such as ‘Trump’, ‘Positive’, Covid-19′.

We found a video dated May 7, 2020, titled, “Trump valet tests positive for COVID-19”.

According to the report, a valet to the President had tested positive. However, the president and the vice- president had tested negative on being tested.

On comparing the two videos, we can see that the viral video was manipulated and the word ‘valet’ has been removed.

Hence, the above information proves that the video is doctored and the claim is false.
