2. The death toll due to the deadly coronavirus also crossed the 8,000-mark and reached 8,102 after recod 357 death in the same span of time, according to the data provided by the Union Health Ministry on Thursday.
3. Of the total 2,86,579 cases, 1,37,448 are active cases while 1,41,028 people have been cured and discharge from the hospitals across the country.

However, he added that seven of them were stopped for two to three days due to a delay in giving test results. “All labs are required to give test results within 24 hours,” said Jain.
