India on Tuesday reported 10,667 new COVID19 cases, and 380 deaths in last 24 hours taking the totally tally upto 3,43,091.

As many as 10,667 new COVID-19 cases and 380 deaths were reported in the country in the last 24 hours, according to the Union Health Ministry data.
The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has said that 59,21,069 samples were tested for COVID-19 in the country till 9.00 am today. Of these, 1,54,935 were tested in the last 24 hours.
With 1,10,744 confirmed cases of COVID-19 so far, Maharashtra remains the worst-affected state in the country, followed by Tamil Nadu (46,504) and Delhi (42,829).
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a fresh round of consultations with chief ministers on Tuesday and Wednesday on ways to check the spread of the coronavirus as India exits the lockdown. In the first round of meeting on Tuesday afternoon, Modi will hold a video-conference with chief ministers, Lt Governors and administrators of 21 states and Union territories.

Delhi’s Health Minister Satyendar Jain has been hospitalised after he complained of high fever and difficulty in breathing.
In a tweet, Jain said: “Due to high grade fever and a sudden drop of my oxygen levels last night I have been admitted to RGSSH. Will keep everyone updated.”
Delhi recorded 1,647 new COVID-19 cases yesterday, taking the tally in the city to over 42,000-mark, and the death toll due to the disease climbed to 1,400, authorities said.
Seventy-three fatalities have been recorded in the last 24 hours, the Delhi Health Department said in a bulletin.
Maharashtra reported 178 more COVID-19 deaths yesterday, the highest spike in a single-day including 68 from worst-hit Mumbai, taking the number of fatalities to 4,128. With 2,786 new detections, the total number of cases has jumped to 1.1 lakh cases.
