Delhi Health Minister, Satyendra Jain, who was admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty hospital last night, with complaints of high fever and breathlessness. He was tested for coronavirus but luckily, he tested negative for it.
This came straight after he attended a meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, where they had discussed the rising curve of Corona in the territory.
The news came out after the senior AAP minister tweeted early in the morning about it. He wrote “Due to high-grade fever and a sudden drop of my oxygen levels last night I have been admitted to RGSSH. Will keep everyone updated (sic)”.

The tweet gained attention after senior AAP leaders started replying to it with Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal tweeting (in Hindi), “You kept serving the public 24*7 without taking care of yourself. Please take care of your health and get well soon.”
Not less than a week ago, CM Arvind Kejriwal himself got tested for coronavirus, after having throat pain and fever. He too had come out negative. In many past instances, we have seen global leaders namely, UK PM Boris Johnson, Israel’s Health Minister Yaakov Litzman being tested positive, since they are more exposed to a large number of people.
At the same time, chances of being infected in Delhi are high since the state has the third-largest number of coronavirus victims with 42, 000 people, as of last count.
