National Award-Winning Kannada Actor Sanchari Vijay Succumbs To Injuries

National Award-winning Kannada actor Sanchari Vijay passed away on Monday after meeting with a road accident in Bengaluru on Saturday night.

Actor Sudeep Kichcha announced the news on social media on Monday afternoon, he wrote: “Very, Very very disheartening to accept that Sanchari Vijay breathed his last. Met him a couple of times just bfr this lockdown….all excited about his next film,that’s due for release.Very sad.Deepest Condolences to his family and friends.RIP.”

Actor Dinesh Sait also paid tribute to the late actor while he shared an article and wrote, “How unfortunate is this, I just saw an article saying he was in ICU, and now I read this. My condolences to Mr. Sanchari Vijay’s family and friends. Rest in peace sir, your contribution to cinema will live forever.”

Actor Sanam Shetty wrote, “Very unfortunate news about actor Sanchari Vijay. May his soul rest in peace. On Shanti.”

His fans too paid him tribute and sent condolences to his family.

His treatment expenses were taken care of by a foundation run by deputy chief minister, DR. Ashwath Narayan as per a statement released from his office. 

Vijay, who made his debut with Rangappa Hogbitna in 2011, appeared in many Kannada films such as Dasavala, Harivu, Oggarane, Killing Veerappan, Varthamana, and Sipaayi. His film Naanu Avanalla Avalu fetched him his first National Award.
