Yatra Resumes at the Vaishno Devi Shrine post Stampede

Registrations and entry at the  Vaishno Devi Shrine resume after a stampede kills 12 devotees due to a stampede which took place at 2:15 am early morning on New Years Day.

The evacuation and operations were immediately launched by the Shrine Board Authorities , Police and District Administration as per the statement given by the board .

The central government even ordered a probe into the situation at the holy shrine. According to ANI, Union Minister Of State, Jitendra Singh is on his way to Katra to look into what happened and also he ensured medical aid assistance to be provided to the injured.
