Mumbaikars Tweet Videos And Images Of Vehicles Covered In Desert Sand

Date:

A thick layer of haze settled over Mumbai after a western disturbance and a cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan brought unseasonal rains to the city.

Many social media users tweeted photos and videos of the dust layers on their vehicles caused due to the ‘desert sand’.

Some social media users also shared images of blurred vision due to the desert sand.

The incident has brought down the air quality index of the city to the ‘poor’ category.
Twitter handle Mumbai weather tweeted, “Western disturbance dipping south than normal has brought desert sand cover over Mumbai. Today day time max temp likely to be 24-25°C, tomorrow early morning min temp likely to dip below 14°C. Suburbs surrounding National Park & Thane min temp could drop to 12°C.”
