WHO Guidelines For Safe Opening Of Schools

Date:

Schools and colleges have reopened in offline mode in many states after they were shut during the third wave of COVID-19. As many students are now going to school, here is some advice from the World Health Organisation to prevent the spread of COVID-19 on school campuses:

All staff and students must always wear masks.

It should be ensured that there is a sufficient supply of soap/hand sanitiser and running water.

Windows and doors must be kept open for proper ventilation

Physical distance is a must both inside and outside the classroom

Anyone with COVID-19 symptoms must stay home

All teachers and staff must be fully vaccinated.
