National Education Policy 2020 focuses on five pillars: Affordability, Accessibility, Quality, Equity and Accountability – to ensure continual learning.

The education.gov.in website also uploaded details about National Education Policy 2020 which shows that the the policy provides greater flexibility, student choice, and best-of-two attempts, assessments that primarily test core capacities must be the immediate key reforms to all Board exams.

We could not find any detail which mentioned that Class 10 Board Examinations were cancelled. We could not find any media report either to suggest that Board exams were cancelled according to NEP 2020.

PIB Fact Check also tweeted and refuted the viral claim. “A #Whatsapp message claims that according to the New Education Policy, there will be no board exams for class 10th. #PIBFactCheck: This claim is #fake. @EduMinOfIndia has not issued any such order,” the Tweet read.
