Tata Unveils EV Curvv Concept; Likely To Hit Market In 2024

Tata Motors unveiled their new concept Electric Vehicle “Curvv- Different By Design” on Wednesday in an online event. The new SUV is likely to be part of the Tata Nexon EV range. The car is likely to hit the market in the year 2024.

Shailesh Chandra, Managing Director of Tata Motors Electric Mobility, talked about the “futuristic design” and “exhilarating performance” of the new SUV Curvv launched by Tata Motors.

He talked about the features of the SUV and said, “The SUV is big enough to carry families yet compact enough to maneuver in the city”. He further explained that the SUV is designed to stand out on the Indian roads. He confirmed that Curvv will be launched as an EV first followed by an ICE engine in later stages.

The EV Curvv will be placed as the mid-size electric SUV in the Tata Motors portfolio. Martin Uhlarik, Head of Design at Tata Motors, talked about the idea of giving customers luxury with elegance and a user-friendly approach. He further added that “The entire cabin is augmented by a panoramic sunroof which creates a real feeling of light.” He also added that the interior of the car is consistent with the design of the exterior with extra detailing of switches, vents, and edges.

The car is designed with the idea of a technology-based product. The car comes with two screens on the front of the dashboard to communicate car information to the customers.
