A video is being widely shared on social media in which some people can be seen dragging a young man at a railway station. The video is being shared with a caption claiming that a young man from the minority community was caught while he was trying to take away a Hindu girl to sell her off. The post also claims that he was held by Bajrang Dal members.
The video is being shared with a caption that reads, “हिंदू लड़की को बेचने जा रहा था तौकीर ट्रेन में बजरंग दल ने पकड़ा Ujjain railway stations.” (English translation, “Tauqueer was caught by Bajrang Dal on Ujjain railway station while he was going to sell a Hindu girl.”)

NewsMobile did a fact-check and found the claim to be Misleading.
We found that the same video was also uploaded on a Facebook page on January 18, 2022. 
We searched with appropriate keywords and constricting time limit to January 2022. We found a report published by Amar Ujala on January 15, 2022. The report had a screenshot of the viral video and it reported that the Bajrang Dal had caught a Hindu girl and a Muslim boy together on Ujjain’s railway station while they both were going to Ajmer. Bajrang Dal alleged that it was the matter of ‘Love Jihad’ and that the boy had misguided the girl.
The Quint had also reported about the incident. According to The Quint, Government Railway Police superintendent, Nivedita Gupta told that both the people were adults and were family friends, hence, no case was registered against anyone.The report also said that both were married.
Jansatta had also covered the incident and mentioned that the boy and girl were family friends and have known each other for a long time.
Hence, we can ascertain that the video is being shared with a misleading caption.
