IMD Issues Alert Over Severe Heat In Delhi

New Delhi: The Indian Meteorological Department on Tuesday issued a yellow alert for Delhi and nearby areas.

The data predicts that Delhi will experience heatwaves in the upcoming days with maximum temperature to go upto 46 degrees Celsius in the coming days. The forecast predicts severe heatwave conditions till April 28th.

According to reports, several flights were delayed and diverted due to poor visibility on Monday after thunderstorm conditions in parts of Delhi.

According to the predictions made by the IMD department, heatwaves will prevail in parts of Chandigarh, Haryana, Gujarat, and West Bengal for a few days.

Heavy rainfall is predicted in areas of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and Meghalaya over the next few days.
