Deepika Padukone To Take Part As Jury At The 75th Cannes Film Festival

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is all set to represent India at the 75th Cannes Film Festival as one of the jury members in this year’s film festival.

Cannes Film Festival revealed a list of the Jury President and member jury who will select the winners of the year’s Palme d’Or honors and Deepika is part of the list.

Deepika made her red carpet debut back in 2017 at the Cannes Film Festival. She shared a picture with other jury members including Asghar Farhadi, Oscar-winning filmmaker, Jeff Nichols, Rebecca Hall, Noomi Rapace, Jasmine Trinca, and Joachim Trier.

The film festival is all set to begin on May 17 and the jury will announce this year’s winners at the gala ceremony on May 28.

Crimes of the Future, David Cronenberg’s dystopian sci-fi drama, is one of the highlight films of this year’s Cannes Film Festival.

Park Chan-wook, the director of classic Oldboy, is also part of the highlights of the year with his new mystery thriller called Decision to Leave.
