Double Header Day: KKR To Clash With LSG In The Second Game

Pune: Double-header day with Punjab Kings taking on Rajasthan Royals in the first game followed by Kolkata Knight Riders clashing with Lucknow Super Giants in the ongoing Indian Premier League on Saturday.

As the IPL season is slowly moving towards the playoffs the teams are competing to find and secure their position on the points table. Kolkata Knight Riders however have a tough road ahead of them. With six losses this season, the team is placed at the eighth position on the points table.

However, they won the last game against Rajasthan Royals. Skipper Shreyas Iyer and team management are yet to settle on the opening pair for the batting order. Aaron Finch continues to struggle in the top order with Baba Indrajith who is a new addition to the team.

Rinku Singh and Nitish Rana saved the day for KKR in the last game and will be looking to continue their form in the upcoming games.

Lucknow Super Giants are second on the points table with seven wins out of ten games they have played in this season of IPL. LSG won a close match against Delhi Capitals by six runs in the final over thriller. Skipper KL Rahul is in form ahead of their first playoffs in the IPL. He scored 77 runs in the last game setting the tone for his side.

LSG pacer Mohsin Khan was awarded player of the game for his outstanding spell of four wickets in the last game.
