Prediction of light rainfall in New Delhi by IMD; temperature to drop over the next 5 days

On Wednesday, the minimum temperature in New Delhi was 31 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature reached 40 degrees Celsius.

As per the IMD (India Meteorological Department) forecast, dry heat in New Delhi, which lasted around two weeks, might now lead to thunder or lightning on Wednesday. Minimum temperature on Wednesday to be around 31 degrees Celsius which may rise to 40 degrees Celsius.

On Tuesday, the minimum temperature was around 31.2 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal. A yellow alert has been issued to New Delhi by the Met department for the next five days, until 20th June, in view of the thunderstorms.
