When NewsMobile fact-checked the claim, it was found to be fake.
Putting the image through Reverse Image Search, we found that the man, identified as M. Prabhu — a teacher from Tamil Nadu, burned the national flag in protest against the government. He said that he was protesting against the Central government as it failed to constitute the Cauvery management board.
