17 Year Old Teenager Struck By Moving Train While Filming For Reels; Grievously Injured

Warangal: In a gruesome accident, a teenager was tragically struck by a moving train while acting for a video, on Sunday. The video is making rounds on social media.

The incident reportedly took place on the tracks at the Waddepally tank near the Kazipet railway station in the Hanamkonda district in Telangana.

According to reports, the injured, 17-year-old Chintakula Akshay Raj, was filming a video for his Instagram reel with two friends when the accident took place. He is an engineering student and a resident of Vaddepally village in the Hanamkonda district.

The viral video of the incident, the teenager is seen walking with his hands in his pockets, along the track as the train approaches from behind. In a couple of seconds, he was hit by the train and he flung aside. His friend, who was recording the video on a mobile phone, is heard warning the youth before he was knocked down.


Chintakula Akshay Raju sustained grievous injuries, locals, then police rushed him to the MGM Hospital in Warangal, he is out of danger reportedly.
