Sidhu Moosewala Murder Case: Punjab Police Nabs Chief Shooter From Bengal-Nepal Border

Mohali: Punjab Police in a significant breakthrough arrested Deepak alias Mundi from the Bengal-Nepal border on Saturday in connection with the murder of Punjabi Singer Sidhu Moosewala.

Punjab Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav added that the operation was carried out by the joint efforts of central agencies and Delhi Police.

Taking to Twitter, DGP Punjab Police added that “Deepak, Kapil Pandit, and Rajinder have been arrested today by AGTF team at Bengal-Nepal border in the culmination of intelligence-based operation.”

The tweet further added that “Deepak was the shooter in the Bolero module, Kapil Pandit and Rajinder provided logistical support including weapons and hideouts.”

Punjabi Singer Sidhu Moosewala was shot in Punjab’s Mansa district on May 29 this year. The assassination was further linked to Canadian-based gangster Goldy Brar who shared a video claiming responsibility for the incident.
