In this backdrop, a 10-second video claiming to have been shot from the China Telecom office in Changsha is going viral.

A Reverse Image Search of the video keyframes led us to a tweet posted on March 9, 2021, by Insider Paper – an online media platform. The video keyframes match exactly with the viral video.
Looking at the tweet we get to know that the video was shot from inside the burning building in Shijiazhuang, China, in 2021, as opposed to the viral claim. The same video was also tweeted on March 10, 2021, by another Twitter account named Asian OSINT.
Searching for the video further we came across a Facebook video uploaded by Frontline- a Chinese media outlet, on March 10, 2021. The video matches exactly with the viral video. Even here the video caption mentions that the video is of the fire that broke out in a high rise building in Shijiazhuang, China.

Although we could not verify the exact source of the viral video, it is clear from our search that the video belongs to the 2021 incident of fire in a high rise building in Shijiazhuang, China, and has nothing to do with the recent fire in a 42-storey building in Changsha, China.
Therefore, based on our investigation, we can conclusively say that the viral video claiming to be shot recently from inside the building on fire in Changsha, China, is misleading.
