In A First, Amit Shah Launches Hindi Version Of MBBS Books In Bhopal

Bhopal: During his visit to Madhya Pradesh, Union Home Minister Amit Shah launched a first-of-its-kind Hindi version of MBBS course books in Bhopal on Sunday.

Madhya Pradesh CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan while speaking at the event said that “Today Amit Shah has brought a new dawn in the lives of children of the poor, who could get admission to medical colleges but were caught in the web of English and many times could not pass exams and left their studies,”.

With this, Madhya Pradesh becomes the first state to introduce the Hindi language in the MBBS course. At first, three subjects, Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry, were selected for the process.

According to reports, a team of 97 experts has been working on the preparation of books for the last 232 days at Gandhi Medical College.

The state medical education minister Vishwas Sarang claimed it to be a game changer in the advancement of education in Hindi Medium.

The minister further added that the move will bring a significant change in the lives of youth, especially from Hindi backgrounds.

An expert involved in the translation claimed that the new edition of Medical Biochemistry contains the application of some new chapters which include Sodium, Potassium, Water Homeostasis, Biochemistry Techniques, Radiation, Radioisotopes, and Environmental Pollutants and Toxins.

Besides, Several new line diagrams, tables, and text boxes have been added to make information more memorable.
