Washington: Tesla CEO and the new ‘Chief Twit’ Elon Musk is planning to make major changes in the microblogging site Twitter’s operation.
Musk has hired a group of advisers who are responsible for steering his way around the development. In this group, an Indian American named Sriram Krishnan.
Sriram Krishnan is a partner at Andreessen Horowitz (also known as a16z), a Silicon Valley investment firm. The company invested in Musk’s takeover of Twitter.
Sriram Krishnan took to Twitter and added that “Now that the word is out: I’m helping out Elon Musk with Twitter temporarily with some other great people. I ( and a16z) believe this is a hugely important company and can have great impact on the world and Elon is the person to make it happen.”

Sriram Krishnan has earlier worked at Twitter, Microsoft, and Meta before joining the investment firm. According to a report by the New York Times, he and others on Sunday were present at the Twitter headquarters “holding the fort” while Musk flew to New York.
Earlier in July 2021, the New York Times did a profile on him and his wife Aarthi Ramamurthy. Both of them were born in Chennai and were raised in a middle-class Indian household. The couple met in college in 2003.
Sriram joined Andreesen Horowitz in 2021 as part of a major investment in Clubhouse, a social media app that was released in 2020.
