Aamir Khan Decides To Take A Break From Acting, Says “Want To Be With My Family”

New Delhi: Bollywood superstar and ‘Mr.Perfectionist’ Aamir Khan has decided to take a break from acting.

While attending an event in the national capital, Aamir Khan opened up about his career and revealed that he is stepping back from acting for a year and a half.

He further revealed that he was supposed to act in an upcoming project known as ‘Champions’. However, now he wouldn’t be acting in the film but will take part in the making of the movie.

He said that “When I am doing a film as an actor, I get so lost that nothing else happens in my life.” He further added that “But I feel that I want to take a break, be with my family, with my mom, my kids.”

Aamir further emphasized that this will be the first break that he is taking in the span of 35 years in the film business.

Further talking about his decision he said “This is the time I feel I have to take some time off to be with them, and actually experience life in a different way. I am looking forward to the next year, year-and-a-half in which I am not working as an actor,”.

Aamir’s revelation about taking a break from acting comes months after his film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ failed at the box office.
