In a big announcement, actress Deepika Padukone joined the cast of Singham’s sequel with Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar.
The actress in Rohit Shetty’s directorial, ‘Singham Again’ will be seen playing the role of a cop, ‘Lady Singham’. Interestingly the Singham franchise is Padukone’s debut role as a cop.

The Shetty cop squad also features Ajay Devgn as Inspector Bajirao Singham, Ranveer Singh as Senior Police Inspector Sangram Bhalerao (Simmba) and Akshay Kumar as DCP Veer Sooryavanshi.
Singham Again, as per reports is expected to begin in April 2023.
Padukone will also be seen in a cameo performance in Shetty’s upcoming comedy film ‘Cirkus,’ which features her husband Ranveer Singh in a double role.
