New Delhi: Amid the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday spoke with Prime Minister Narendra Modi over phone call and wished India a successful G20 Presidency term.
The Ukrainian President took to Twitter and added, “I had a phone call with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and wished a successful G20 presidency.”
I had a phone call with @PMOIndia Narendra Modi and wished a successful #G20 presidency. It was on this platform that I announced the peace formula and now I count on India's participation in its implementation. I also thanked for humanitarian aid and support in the UN.

Talking about the importance of the G20 platform, he further added that “It was on this platform that I announced the peace formula and now I count on India’s participation in its implementation.”
He also thanked India and PM Modi for the humanitarian aid and support in the time of conflict.
Both PM Modi and Zelenskyy earlier interacted over phone in the month of March, earlier this year.
