Noida Woman Allegedly Gangraped Along Yamuna Expressway; Three Arrested

Noida: In a gruesome incident, a 23-year-old woman was allegedly gangraped at the Yamuna Expressway on Wednesday.

Police have arrested three male accused including a taxi driver.

According to reports, the accused who have been arrested by the police hours after the incident have been identified as Titu, Jaiveer, and Chacha.

The woman informed the police that she was travelling from Noida in a shared cab. The woman was allegedly gangraped by three men including the taxi driver after the other passengers left the cab.

Preetinder Singh, Agra Police Commissioner added that the woman was travelling to her native place in Auraiya when the taxi driver offered to drop her at Firozabad. According to the complaint, the taxi driver called two of his friends around midnight.

The woman further added that the men dragged her to the bushes and allegedly raped her. A case was registered by the Etmadpur Police station. Police further nabbed the accused in the case after identifying them through CCTV footage at the toll plaza.
