More Classified Documents Found At US President Joe Biden’s Delaware Home

Washington: US President Joe Biden’s counsel reportedly recovered additional classified documents at the president’s Delaware home.

The classified documents were immediately handed over to Justice Department officials.

According to a report by Reuters, Richard Sauber, Biden’s special counsel, travelled to his Delaware house on Thursday to handover the documents recovered with “classified marking” to the Justice Department.

The official statement of Richard Sauber as quoted by Reuters added that “While I was transferring it to the DOJ officials who accompanied me, five additional pages with classification markings were discovered among the material with it,”.

He added, “The DOJ officials with me immediately took possession of them.” He further added that Biden’s lawyers have acted “immediately and voluntarily” to handover the documents to officials.

According to another report, the documents found were related to his time as Vice President in the Obama administration.
