Performing a Reverse Image Search, we spotted a news report by NDTV, dated March 31, 2023, carrying the same viral video. “An Uttar Pradesh MLA was seen reprimanding a road contractor over the poor quality of a freshly paved road in his constituency in a video that has been widely shared online. Bedi Ram, a lawmaker from the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party, said he was inspecting roads in his Ghazipur constituency after receiving complaints from residents.”
ABP News also published a report on this incident, stating that “Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party (Subhaspa) MLA Bedi Ram from Jakhnia assembly of Ghazipur has raised questions regarding the shoddy construction of about four-and-a-half kilometre road connecting Jangipur to Yusufpur in Ghazipur.”
Also, the My Neta website informs that Bedi Ram is the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party MLA from Jakhanian constituency, a reserved assembly seat in Ghazipur.
