With a keyword search on Google, we traced several media reports related to the disappearance of Baljeet Kaur. According to one of the reports dated April 19, after descending from the summit point of Mount Annapurna in Nepal, 28-year-old mountaineer Baljit Kaur went missing for a while, but was eventually discovered by a search team and successfully rescued.
Several other news reports also stated that Baljeet Kaur has been rescued, who had lost contact on Monday (April 17) while descending from Mount Annapurna. However, on Tuesday (April 18), the rescue team received an SOS signal from her and successfully located and rescued her by helicopter.
Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu tweeted on April 18 that Baljeet was rescued successfully.
