Shubman Gill played a sublime inning of 56 runs in just 37 deliveries, anchoring the GT innings. Middle-order batters Abhinav Manohar and David Miller played a power-packed inning of 42 and 46 runs respectively.
GT put up a mammoth total of 208 runs for the chase. Mumbai Indians lost an early wicket as skipper Rohit Sharma was dismissed by Hardik Pandya.
All-rounder and in-form player Cameron Green tried to forge a partnership but was dismissed by Noor Ahmad.
Spinster Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad picked up two and three wickets respectively in their spells.
With this win, Gujarat Titans will next clash with Kolkata Knight Riders while Mumbai Indians will clash with a dominant Rajasthan Royals.
