IPL 2023: Rajasthan Royals Secure Top Spot As They Beat CSK By 32 Runs

Jaipur: Rajasthan Royals tops the points table as they beat Chennai Super Kings by 32 runs on Thursday.

Batting first, RR managed to dominate the innings with a power-packed batting from Yashasvi Jaiswal. He scored 77 runs off just 43 deliveries.

Youngster Dhruv Jurel picked up the pace and played a crucial knock of 34 runs in just 15 deliveries.

CSK bowlers had a tough day out on the field. Tushar Despande picked two wickets in his spell while Ravindra Jadeja managed to scalp one wicket.

Chasing the total of 203 runs, CSK had a very slow start in the innings. Ruturaj Gaikwad managed to score 47 runs in 29 deliveries.

Shivam Dube played a power-packed knock towards the end of the innings and scored 52 runs off 33 runs.

With this win, CSK drops to the third position in the points table as RR replace them at the top.
