Battle For Karnataka: Congress Releases Manifesto, Promises To Act Against Hatred

Bengaluru: Congress party on Tuesday released its manifesto for the upcoming Karnataka Assembly elections.

Party president Mallikarjun Kharge said that Congress will take ‘decisive action’ as per law, including the ban of organisations like Bajrang Dal, the Popular Front of India and others.

The manifesto reads: “The Congress party is committed to taking firm and decisive action against individuals and organisations spreading hatred against communities on the grounds of caste and religion.”

The manifesto was released in the presence of former Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, KPCC President DK Shivakumar and Congress spokesperson Pawan Khera.
